Receive homeowner plumbing requests in your Michigan service area
PlumberMatch is a referral service. Homeowners pick a job and give a ZIP code, and we send the request to one plumbing company that serves it. If you want those requests for the work and ZIP codes you choose, this page says what we send, what it costs and how to apply.
What we send you
A request carries the job the homeowner picked (emergency, drain cleaning, water heater repair or replacement, sewer line, leak, sump pump, toilet, repiping, water softener or gas line), the ZIP code, the homeowner's name, phone and email, the time of the request and the consent wording they agreed to. The homeowner has agreed to be contacted by one company, by phone call and text, and the consent line names PlumberMatch and says it is one company.
We do not send the same request to a list of bidders. If you use a referral partner to place calls for you, tell us when you apply, because the consent wording covers a partner acting for the company that receives the request.
What it costs
You pay per request delivered. We state the per-request price on the call after you apply, and there is no contract and no share of the job. You quote the work, keep the customer and are paid by the homeowner. You can pause delivery at any time, by service or by ZIP code.
What to expect, honestly
These are homeowners who asked for help with a specific job, and some will not pick up, some will already have found someone, and some will be after a price and nothing else. We do not promise a number of requests per week, and we do not promise any request will become a job. Our pages tell homeowners what to try first and when a job needs no plumber, so some of the people who reach the form will have already narrowed the problem down.
How to apply
Write to support@plumbermatchusa.com with the company name, your Michigan plumbing contractor license number, the services you want and the ZIP codes you serve. We keep the license number you give us on file with your account and ask you to confirm the details on a call. We do not tell homeowners that any company is license-checked: our pages tell them to ask for the license number and check it themselves on LARA's public lookup.
In return, we ask that you answer a homeowner's questions about licensing and permits plainly. The guides on this site tell homeowners to ask for your license number and to check it, and to expect a permit where the work needs one. Michigan law makes unlicensed plumbing a misdemeanor on a first offense, and a felony on a third. We may stop sending requests to a company if we learn that it works without the license the job requires.
Thank you
We received your application.
What we ask of partners
- Call the homeowner from a number that identifies your company, and say who you are.
- State the price, or the way you price, before you send anyone to the house.
- Pull the permit where the work needs one, and say so in the quote.
- Stop contacting a homeowner who asks you to, and tell us.
